Major problem with my phone. Verizon saying I need to get a different type phone!

Ask for a Nokia Lumia maybe... But I don't really no another solution sorry

As if Nokia Lumias have never had connection problems...the point is every manufacturer has experienced connectivity issues at some point. The solution is either hardware, software, or carrier related. If you've had your phone replaced 3 times, I would speculate connectivity issues with the carrier. After making sure that all of your updates are installed, I would invite your friend over with the 8x and see if they experience connectivity issues all of a sudden...If they do, then you've pinpointed the issue! If they don't, then I would speculate maybe something going on with your account. Ask them if they are throttling to 3G data or not...
