messages to facebook frequently being lost

I frequently notice that my message sent form Windows Phone 8 to my friend on facebook does not get through! Another message after this usually comes through but I can never be sure about this. I saw a lot of threads regarding the opposite problem - facebook messagess not being received on the phone or pc with windows 8, but do you also notice what I describe?
I have Huawei Ascend W1. Maybe WP8 updates which Huawei does not want to provide would fix that, but I doubt that...
