Messaging and Skype

Does anyone know of a way to decouple Skype from regular messaging? Although I appreciate the functionality it's annoying as hell to get real texts buried under the deluge on Skype messages. Not only that, but it seems to disrupt proper updating of the live tile.

If nothing else, I'd like a way to disable notifications specifically for Skype messages. Currently it seems to be all or nothing; you can only mute all messages from that particular user.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a way around this, other than no longer using Skype, but I'm hoping that I've missed some option.

Yeah it's a bit hard to notice. I looked for the option for a long time before someone told me how to.

Open the messaging app -> Skype settings (if you didn't enter your phone number, you will have to), then you'll see a new window "Skype settings", showing the account you're using, if you want to look for friends from your address book... Right under your picture, there's a LITTLE "disconnect" button
