Messenger not built in anymore??

Hi

Just went to post a status update and I noticed the option to post to Messenger is not there - just FB, Linkedin & Twitter.

Have they taken Messenger out of WP8? Looks like they have as when I sign into chat on my phone the desktop app doesn't pop up to tell me I am signed in at multiple locations like it used to.

That was one of the great features before - receiving messages when not at pc.

Windows messenger or msn is now just Skype.... It does not exist anymore

Yeah I thought that wasn't actually happening until next year though.
Now I have nothing. lol.

You still can chat using Messenger using your phone. But since they moved Messengers backend over to Skype, all the other functions will most likely show back up when they release Skype for WP8.
