Mobile Mouse Stopped Scrolling with Wheel

Using an 8 Gb Surface Go (128 Gb memory) - all of a sudden overnight
my Microsoft Mobile Mouse will not scroll by using the wheel. Normal behavior is to scroll several lines - Has anyone else seen this
