Mountain Biking with the Microsoft Band (How-to Explained)

So. The band doesn't recognise "fake steps" when driving the bike?.

the conundrum is that when I'm biking I'm not always pedaling. That and different gears will lead to different average "step"/distance ratios. After some time I gave up looking at the details of steps. For me they are meaningless at this point. More important is GPS data.
I am using unBand to export the tracks to Google Earth Pro. Not really that useful but fun to play with.

Rode again this weekend on the same trail and have updated the Sway posted above. The GPS is a bit off for this area, as you can see when 2 consecutive laps were completed the inaccuracies of the two.

didn't see from your Sway post whether you exported the data. just FYI. I use unBand to save the gpx data then export to Google Earth Pro. Should look cool with your data.
