Moving apps to the SD card and possible side effects of this.

So I've recently moved over to windows phone from Android (Galaxy S3) and I used to move a lot of my apps to the SD card when I had the S3 but unfortunately this used to result in a slower startup, the apps would take longer to loadup when I turned on the phone and the battery life had decreased.

Now what I'm wondering is, do Windows Phones suffer from the same problem or do they handle SD cards differently than Android?

If you use a good brand class 10 SD cards you will not have that much problems with slow opening apps which are on your SD card. But then again the internal memory is a faster storage compared with a sd card.
