Moving from 920 to 925

Hi All,

After much negotiation with Nokia and having spoken with a very very helpful senior customer support agent i am getting my faulty 920 replaced with a 925.

My question is, how can I move everything (apps, contacts, email accounts, user settings etc) from old to new phone?

You go to Settings -> Backup -> apps list + settings or text messages or photos if you want.

You're game data will not be backed up.

Once you log into your MS account with your new phone all the data will come down onto the phone. If you are missing contacts I would recommend making an Outlook.com email account with your MS account.

Yeah if you have your Nokia Lumia 920 with you now go onto settings > backup > applist+Settings > 'back up now'. You can enter your Microsoft ID on inital boot up and it should restore everything else

wow thats great i had L820 long ago and thats wont possible...
