MS should Buy beats

Not a good idea and from the couple articles I saw today the deal is about to close this week.

To those who say Beats us terrible etc. etc. I say to what other brand of headphones gets as much love, fanfare, ads and mind share than Beats right now? Beats and Apple have a lot of mind share and are perceived as premium products, so it makes sense Beats would catch Apples eye, they both are also very profitable companies.

Who cares how popular Beats is? It's not like that popularity would transfer to MS if they bought it. All that would happen is that media would start telling people the truth about Beats headphones. That they are way over priced for the quality you get.

Apple paid way too much money for Beats because they desperately want to get into streaming. iTunes has been the dominate music store for a long time, but they have never been able to make a solid play to streaminig. Microsoft already has streaming media working with xbox, they don't need Beats.

So why should Microsoft then? It's a good idea for Microsoft, but not for Apple? Considering Apple has tons more money ($100 Billion+ cash on hand) than they do, I think Apple can do whatever the hell they want.

Apple has iTunes match and Radio and whatnot. They are buying Beats for more than just for streaming music.
