Hey everyone, I know this is mainly a Windows Phone forum, but I was hoping I may find a solution to my poblem here. So, I got my hands on Win8.1 RTM (thanks, MSDNAA) and after a couple of bad decisions, I uninstalled the Music app. No problem, I just downloaded it again from the Store, but the version that got downloaded was a very ancient one (I think the original one). After a few seconds of loading that ugly start screen from the old Music app we all know and hate, the screen just goes blank and says i should install the newest update in order to use the app. Unfortunately, there is no newer version in the Store and now I'm kinda stuck with a non-working Music app. So, does anybody have a solution ?

I had trouble installing the update to Music as well with 8.1 RTM but eventually it did install. I don't know what the problem was. I didn't uninstall the Music app though. I am guessing that your issue is because the app probably isn't set to "release" until October 17 or 18.
