My lumia 625 has frozen can't do anything or even turn it off, won't charge either, what can I do with it?

Frozen on home screen, won't do anything, can't switch it off or charge, was fine a few hours ago

Does volume buttons & power button works?

If you can not switch it off with the buttons you can get the battery out.

As I know. Lumia 625 doesn't have a removable battery

Indeed you have to disassemble it. So it is not as easy as a removable battery but it can be done if you want. Or just wait till the battery drained than it also will switch off.

Hold the volume down rocker, and the power button at the same time until it powers off.

Could it be that your battery is totally flat?
If so connect your phone several hours to a charger.
If a battery is totally flat it goes in a "coma state" and it may take several hours before it get out this coma.

Did you try the recovery tool? Perhaps when the phone is responsive in the recovery tool, it will "unlock"
Otherwise try the advise of Harry-S charging it for several hours.

Thank you very much, it's solved, I didn't fancy taking the battery out as it's not straight forward like older models, so I tried the SOFT option of pressing volume and power buttons at the same time and holding for 15 seconds.

Having read other replies, I tried holding the power and volume buttons at the same time and the phone then closed down and rebooted itself. It now appears to have recovered!

It did for my lumia 640.
