My mojo!

So, I've been hard at work obviously dealing with the spam, but I'm going through filing reports for multi-site spammers, and go to One Touch after doing the infraction and report, and found HeyCori's beaten me to it. I keep having my mojo nicked :unhappy: I know obviously it's to keep the spam out (and in a way I'm glad so many mods are on the case), but have you ever felt like your mojo or thunder has been stolen by that?

Also, please take this as a tongue-in-cheek thread. I do however understand the seriousness of combatting spam.

Yeah I get this so often! I get email notification about reports and by the time I open the forum or email link - You've bloody dealt with the thing. I've seen this at least at 5 different times of the day. I was wondering if you EVER sleep or what! I'm glad HeyCori's faster on certain instances. Taste of your own medicine etc

Difference was I had already infracted and filed a report when HeyCori stepped in to clean WPC.

I haven't had to touch a spam thread or reported post in weeks. It really frees me up to deal with MN business. I am even finding time to post at the MN forums from time to time.

I usually don't bother with the spam reports anymore now because someone usually took care of it by the time I even opened it.

I was really lucky today. I caught one today who had posted on all sites by looking at the unanswered threads at the top of the page. That hasn't happened in awhile.

As long as they are getting caught, whoever does it is fine by me. But if they start paying us per banned spam, it's on!

If they do that then I will soon be able to afford my next tablet which I would really like.

I can also then get a Z10 unlocked which would be useful for when I'm abroad if I get this job.

If we are getting paid per spam that's been dealt with, palad, you've got game on mate! I've got 2 spare laptops that can be only be looking at those reports thread and will get tapatalk set up on my old droids just for the sake of fund raising for a new Surface!

Yet if I wasn't getting a certain amount myself I would consider myself a failure and quite likely subject myself to beatings. Trust me, I take targets seriously. Already I have targets but as it is voluntary work I am more lenient on myself.
