Need help regarding update on lumia 520

I just installed a developers app. Then during the major update(during which the phone becomes unresponsive for 5 to 10 minutes) i lost my internet connection due to a power cut for 2 to 3 minute. Now after about 20 minutes my nokia lumia 520 is still unresponsive with just a bright nokia text on a black screen. Please help me out.

The phone does not need the internet to update once you've downloaded the update. Try to do a soft reset. If that doesn't work, try a hard reset. Your last option would be to use the Nokia Software Recovery Tool.

Remove the battery and put it back and then start your phone
