So I was just looking at an article about Lumia 550. The thing that struck me most was it's there, showing Windows Mobile 10. But it looks identical to Windows Phone 8. And 7. Could be a Nokia from 4 years ago.
While the Windows look of live tiles is central to Windows, I'm wondering if shots need to focus on new aspects of the OS. Shots with things like the 3D view in the maps app. Or full Excel. Games.
By showing a new phone that looks the same as every other phone doesn't inspire someone to look again as it looks the same.
Screen shots with snazzy new looks might interest people.
Just thinking that somehow Microsoft need to focus on the new rather than the old.
Any thoughts?
