New to WP8 and already on 8.1. Hi guys!

I am a cell phone fanatic and just moved to WP8 w/ a Lumia 925 from a BlackBerry 10 phone (Love the platform but wanted to be seasoned with something else since BlackBerry's future isn't looking too hot). Loving the phone and not being just another person carrying around an iPhone or Galaxy device :wink:

Hi and welcome to WPCentral! I'm glad you joined us here. I think you picked a great to to get a Windows Phone too. I'm also an ex-BlackBerry user. Notifications were the one issue that a lot of people had issues with, but the Action Center in WP8.1 is great. I've been using Windows Phone for 2 years now, but it's like a brand new phone for me with the 8.1 update.

Thank you! Yes, the notification on 8.1 is a game-changer. It really took me from liking the OS to LOVING it! Good job Microsoft! I... may or may not have bragged about it on CrackBerry today

Oh, yes, I have many fond memories with my BlackBerry phones (To some that's odd but to cell phone fans like us it's completely normal lol.) I'm actually sad to see BB going the way it is and would have loved for BB10 to have found its place but Windows Phone's have always been intriguing to me. As stated above, I just cannot go to iOS or Android; I tried using them but found Apple to be stale and Android messy. Thanks for the welcome!

Yesterday, My HTC 8X but i don't see battery low and click update. Phone updating then power off, current my phone only display HTC screen and turn off screen. Please help me about issue
