NO 24-hour heart rate monitoring on the Band

Just sitting here this morning reading this thread again (not sure why?) and have been watching my Band for the last 30 minutes not in a dark room. With no prompts from me the HRM has turned on every 9 minutes and stayed on for 1 minute. Seems to be working just as described.

I bought the Band the day it came out at the store and used it for several runs and mtn bike rides. It does exactly what Daniel stated in exercise mode also. I also watched it last night after I put it in Sleep mode and performed as described.

Compared to my Scosche HRM connected to Digifit the Band and MH has given me very similar results while riding my bike and running.

I don't see how it is misleading. It's been made available now how many times it samples for your HR based on activity. What the OP is truly arguing about is that it doesn't sample enough for his/her needs so the thread title is misleading since it does indeed monitor it for 24hrs.
