No gyroscope. Will tilt controls on Asphalt work?

Hello guys.

I just realized that the 520 doesn't have a gyroscope.

My question is will tilt controls work on Asphalt 7? I mean tilting to turn, etc.

Yes, motion based games mostly rely on the accelerometer, and before you install an app, there will be a little tip below the app before the description saying if you're missing any features for an app to run.

Okay. What about Doors then?
It requires a 'movement and directional sensor' according to what is said on the app page.

I know this isn't quite what you asked, but Asphalt allows you to change the control method in the settings, so you can steer it without tilting, using a few different techniques.

I have downloaded Asphalt 7 heat to my lumia 520. Tilting is working perfectly but still I am not comfortable or not able to control with the tilting feature. I am using steering wheel mode. I think this is due to lack of gyroscope.

Yep, the gyroscope provides better data than the accelerometer.

That depends, many WP apps use the Motion sensor with is a combination of the accelerometer and gyroscope, and works fine if the Gyroscope is missing. Not as accurate. All devices must have the accelerometer, this is what is used to determine the orientation of the screen. The Gyroscope just makes the reading faster and resolve finer movements.
