No notifications until I touch something?

Hey there. I have an issue that I am not understanding. My PC is on and screen off. When I move the mouse, or touch the keyboard it wakes as expected, but then I start getting notifications from the day. I'll get 30 in a row for emails, as wells as others. It is as if it sat waiting for me and then puked them all out at once. Why?

That's because the action centre has a limited number of entries per app now. So if your PC is asleep and starts piling notifications in the action centre then only the recent 20 will show, thus you may miss something important.
