Nokia clear black is basically a polarizing filter behind the glass. Apple has introduced this as well on the 6 and 6 plus hence the great display on those phones as well. I also agree that I would take an IPS LCD over and LED any day. More accurate colour.

I know it's a polarizing filter...but it still makes difference.
