i am thinking of buying a nokia lumia 520...i really wanted to know the merits and demerits of from the people who have been using it for quite some time...

Pros:
- Inexpensive to buy.
- Smooth as silk despite the fact it's entry level
- Expandable storage (SD card)

Cons
- No FFC
- No flash for the 5mp rear camera
- 512mb ram memory

On the whole a solid phone. It generally gets excellent reviews and imho, is probably the best entry level phone available from any manufacturer.
