One of the guys in dis thread said he has received the update.....

Yes. I got the Amber updated on 5th Sep and installed successfully. Yesterday I got another 3 updates for display+touch, feedback to Nokia and extras+info. After this update, display, glance and touch are in three separate menus instead of display+touch as single menu. I don't see any option for double tap to wakeup on my L620.

I have already got the amber update on Lumia 620. Tried the Nokia Smart Cam. It was awesome capturing pics with it. Also installed Nokia Video trimming which also needs Amber update.
Looks like you people need to check if you have allowed to check for updates from your Lumia Phone.

Some info about the upcoming update for all you guys asking again and again.

> It doesn't matter what your location is or which network you are using, because the update is related to your phone config ID. [So stop telling from where you are and which connection you use].

> Have your "Tell when updates are available" option ticked in "Settings>Phone Updates", you'll get to know when the update is available.
> Yes, it fixes the "Other Storage" problem. Comes with the GDR 2 update.

> Updating through the Nokia Software Update for Retail a.k.a NSU would erase all your data and you would have to load everything again, so better go with the OTA update.
And also flashing your phone can void your warranty.
> Updating through OTA wouldn't erase any of your app or settings, but to be on safe side, turn on the "Backup" option in your settings. So that even if the your phone erases as soon as you login in your LIVE/Outlook id all of it would be synced back [except music and pictures which are stored in SD card; For that you can use the SkyDrive upload option. But the photos that would have been uploaded would be off lower resolution (Microsoft's Fault) ].

No. "Other Storage" problem not fixed in GDR2/Amber update. Still I have the issue on my phone with Amber/GDR2 update.
