I'm not sure if it's a problem or not but It seems to me that my battery life is not up to standard to my 735. Out of the charger it says that I have about 10 hours and 30 minutes on my battery saver, and I read elsewhere people were getting 13-14 hours off charge. Maybe I've been overestimating the battery performance on the phone but it seems like my battery is running out more quickly than it should be. I've had a blast using this phone for over a week now and I'm still adjusting because I used Android devices before.

So can anyone fill me out here? I use it moderately I guess if that helps, a good bit of gaming, messaging and watching stuff. How long does your phone last? My worst experience was when i watched a video for 4 minutes and 4% was drained out of it, maybe that's normal and all but I just need someone's thoughts about this, thanks.

Check under SETTINGS the baterry saver which apps are using pay also attention on apps which are allowed to run in the back ground.

I've disabled the heavy usage apps from running in the background since I got the phone.

yes I have the exact same experience. love the fone, but just cant figure out how to extend the battery life to the quoted 14 hours... have you found any useful tips or hints meanwhile?

My L735's battery life is great. Location and wifi are always on, and it received light use. Battery normally lasts a couple of days

I charge when battery falls to between 30-40% and charge to between 80-90%, and everything just ticks along fine.

Sorry to squeeze in on an unrelated question, do any of you here have the reboot problem some are facing? I want to pick up a 735 for my sister, kind of worried about that, also how is the general performance of the phone?

It depends on what you use it for. I can get 3 days out of a Lumia 735 but I can also drain it in 10 hours. All depends.

Basically apps like Facebook Messenger are a complete and utter mess, and will drain the battery faster than say.. Whatsapp. Whatsapp isn't perfect but FB messenger is a disaster. If you play games all day long, you won't get that 14 hours either. You'll get 14 hours if you do the occasional FB messenger/whatsapp chat. But if you use them almost full time, then you will never get 14 hours, no phone will actually.

On average I get about 32 hours out of a 735, but I don't use FB messenger a lot and neither do I use whatsapp full time. Just occasional.

Sorry for the late reply but I've never faced a rebooting problem before. It only happened once for me but that's about it. Anyway my battery is doing a fine job now, don't let the remaining time numbers fool you. :)

I do own Nolia Lumia 735 and i did next steps;
1. Get rid of unnessesery apps
2 Set brightnes level at 25% and auto on ,,on"
3. Charge from 30-40% to 80-90%
4. Disable background app, ofcourse not one you heavely use, like ,,What's app" , ,,Calendar"...etc
5. Data, Wi-Fi, Bluet.,NFC..all off when not using.

I do not turn phone off during sleep, sometime airplane mode but do not turn off. Battery last day and half/two days with light-moderate use and about day with heavy. I think that's excelent in smartphone era.

my phone battery saver disable - on background soft. face, whsp, msn, inst. corona, expl.

wifi 6-8 hours
3-4 hours 3g
2-3 hours messenger , music
display medium %25-30
30-40 min speech

32-40 hours battery life..using
