Nokia Lumia Black Update Starts Rolling Out Today

As an extension to my last post regarding the black update for 920, in the UK Vodafone & O2 have the update as "coming soon", so its incoming. As usual, EE folk will have to wait!!

With this recent update, the first set of Nokia Windows Phone 8 devices that seem to have been dropped from support are:
810 - T-Mobile (North America-USA)
520 - 3 Italy (Europe-Italy)
720 - Wind (Europe-Italy)
720T - CMCC (Asia Pacific-China)
925T - CMCC (Asia Pacific-China)

I went through the Lumia Black availability pages and these are the phones that show "Not Available" for Lumia Black.

So it begins, devices are now being left behind...

Let's be clear, here. This is nothing more than a conclusion that has been jumped to based on a lack of information.

Don't get too worried. Yesterday it was only released for the 925 and the 1020. Your turn will come - as will mine. :wink:

It will. But it hasn't been released for that phone yet.

Folks,
I do not see some big difference between Lumia 920 and Lumia 925, except in display (check compare via Insider app), but Nokia Black update is already available for Lumia 925.
This is just my mind, does this unavailability of Black update for Lumia 920 meaning that will have some additional feature or less feature than are on 925?
Of course I am vote for additional feature like is three row tiles on home screen.
What do you think what could be reason that Black update roll out for 925 and not for 920?
Maybe DNG support on 920.

Come on, why you are not optimistic, some advance feature like bigger brother (1020) would be nice.

Would be cool to have something special but I don't count on it. I just hope they tweaked the camera post processing a bit and we can open Nokia Camera from locked (with code) phone.

I don't think I would use DNG anyway. I always shoot in jpg on my camera as well as I never get around to actually post process my shots.

I love everything about this phone. I have had for over a year and I'm yet to see the phone I would rather have. So tiny refinements are welcome but I don't need a revolution.
