My friend has bought a Lumia 720 from a Hong Kong based online retailer. They assumed the phone would be sent from the UK as the website ended with .co.uk. She managed to save a few quid so went ahead with the purchase but she is unsure if she will be covered by Nokia's warranty.

I'm aware that Nokia offer a 2 year warranty in Europe. The phone has a Euro2 product code CV DE, so will she be covered if anything goes wrong?

Thanks for any help.

I think there an international warranty that you get for one year with the device.
Not really.
You can only tell when you get the phone.
If the phone is in its original packaging, the booklet will probably tell you that the warranty is limited to HK. Most of the Asia models are restricted to the market sold. I am not saying it is the case only, you may get lucky.
If the phone is not in the original package, or you suspect it is not, you my check the imea with local Nokia CS, they will identify for you.
