Nokia Warrenty

Bought a new Nokia Lumia 520 in August 2013 unlocked from my phone provided Manx Telecom in the Isle of Man. Then moved to the US & after putting in an AT&T Sim card, the phone will not start & the battery appears to be nearly dead & will not charge. Called Nokia USA but they say warranty only valid in Europe & they can not help me. Anyone else encounter Nokia's world warranty only working in region of purchase. Just think this is really poor....& want to vent on it. :unhappy:

Sadly you can only claim warranty in the country (EU here) of purchase.
