Not ready for WP yet, going for iphone for now.

I'm currently thinking 6 months or so ahead about what phone I might go for next. I *was* thinking I may upgrade sooner, but the Focus S isn't quite what I'd hoped (the screen being PenTile is a real shame) and the Nokia 800 is just a little too pricey for what it is. So I think if Nokia don't pull out something like the 900 or HTC come out with something a little smaller than the Titan but less "meh" than the Radar, I'll be holding out for the inevitable iPhone 5. In the meantime though, if anyone asks me for advice I'll be steering them one of two ways - iOS or WP7, depending on what suits. Because I genuinely think Android is a step back to the days when computers were fussy and awkward, spec bumps replaced tight programming, cusomizability was used as an excuse for poor, inelegant core design and people had to buy the most powerful thing going just to get something useable.

The Focus S is not PenTile. It is Super AMOLED Plus which is full RGB.

Cant wait till the titan hits att on the 20th, that same week im checking it out, then I'll make my decision. We'll see what happens, I have heard nothing about the Focus S, see this is what bothers me and why I may question the logetivity of WP, there is no press whatsoever, its like wtf is MS waiting for?

I do not consider the right and left to be "buttons". The entire shell is the large single button. Due to the construction pressing different areas of the shell makes the mouse do different things. May be getting into semantics I guess.

As stated apple is definitely about form well before function. But their stuff is beautifully simple and elegant because of that.

Well you might not consider them to be buttons because there's no physical divide, but it can detect left and right clicks and in 3 years of use has never misinterpreted one, so what difference does it make? You wouldn't look at the capacayive buttons on the front of a WP7 phone and think they're all one must because they have no physical divisions!

The thing is that mouse does more than my standard MS windows mouse, what functions exactly are they missing? If anything they have more.

I have a mighty mouse for my Mac Pro and a logitech for my PC. Both 2' from each other on my desk at work. They both function the same. Both have the same exact functions. Mighty mouse is capable of side scrolling and my logitech is not. They do make some of those though. I did not mean to imply that the mighty mouse could not do something. The form of the mighty mouse is much more artistic than the logitech and does lack ergonomics to achieve this.

I have had many left clicks that were supposed to be right clicks. I would say 95% of the time it is on the internet. Trying to right click hyperlinks actually registers as a left click. The capacitive buttons have the same distinction as the mighty mouse. It functions as buttons but there are no physical buttons. Neither way is bad, in fact I like the lack of buttons because its cleaner and after losing the home button on my 3g, I would much rather have capacitive buttons which can not break.

Any $20 Microsoft mouse can do horizontal scrolling. Some HP OEM mice can do that too. I use a 5 button Microsoft mouse with tilt wheel, plus a nostromo for gaming.

At work I do not get to pick my mice. At home I have a death Adder. I have used Apple's new magic pad, at the apple store, and was very surprised how well it worked.
