Not Receiving Sound Notification in Sleep Mode

Hello,

I recent purchased this phone and was receiving the notifications for text and email fine during sleep mode until i decided to add some that I found online. now I don't get my text/email notifications until I take the phone out of sleep. Once I noticed this occurance I changed the sound back to one that came on the phone and now I receive the notices fine. I would however like to use one of my own instead of hte boring ones on the phone. Is there a way to fix this issue? Is there anyone else this is happening to?

Did you save the notifications to windows root directory before assigning them?

no... how do i do that? I didn't do that when i changed the ringer for incoming calls and it works fine when in sleep. How do i change were to put it?
