nothing will open in windows

Clean installed windows10 on a new hard drive, after 2 hour updates nothing would open on desktop. I could see taskbar tabs but no windows. Tried "safe mode" and now it is blackscreen after hp logo and basic loading screen. I'm going to go back to windows7.

did u install the original os or the os downloaded from other websites?
