I see the option for wifi, but I don't see the option to add a link to 'data' - can it be forced in there, somehow?

It is unfortunately not possible yet, though Microsoft exec Joe Belfiore hinted that it is being considered.

Agree that it would be very useful. I honestly cannot understand why it is not included in the action center in the first place, being one of the most useful toggles...

Having control over what apps show in that spot would be awesome. Most of the current options, I don't need/use aside from wifi & airplane mode.

A quick launch to rotation lock or internet sharing, but not data? Cmon, whose bright idea was that..

I mostly agree. I like all the options in there, but a data toggle would make perfect sense. Making it customizable, much like the lockscreen, would be amazing.
