The top isn't completely straight. Guess this one is going back to the store after work.

Anyone else having sound issues? Mine has cracking sound. But I'm downloading apps while streaming music on xbm
Hello everyone. I just came from a Microsoft store and picked up my surface 2 and a touch keyboard. I am here right now to test the touch cover, and so far it has minimal error typing, but it auto corrects my typing. I love this!!
Anyone know how to use the gestures??
Hey can everybody please check for updates? Mine finds a whole bunch of updates, I click install, and then it says something along the lines of updates not needed, and then the updates show up again.
Not sure about the Surface 2, but my Surface Pro 2 had 13 updates awaiting it. Makes sense, since Windows 8.1 went live, there probably have been a few updates to help improve things. Obviously, any models already made and sitting on a store shelf can't get the aforementioned updates, so they're waiting for you when you unbox the thing.

This kind of manufacturing defect and/or design flaw is completely inexcusable in a premium device like this.
I own a Surface Pro and really like the build quality. I am currently trying to justify the high price of picking up a Surface 2 for my kid for school (over a cheaper, lower quality device), but seeing defects like this makes it difficult....
