Official Lumia 520 Amber Update Thread

My Nokia Lumia 820 is now running official MS GDR2 *** Nokia Amber update via OTA
Woohoo!!
All files came in a single update!
Next on line is Nokia Lumia 620 India. This week!

Firmware Version

Hello everyone. While I was going through the Nokia amber update availability page in Asia Pacific, i noticed that the latest firmware version of Country variant Lumia 520 in India is 1030.6409.1314.1002. Since I am from India, my firmware version should be 1030.6409.1314.1002 too. But I found that, in the 'about' section of my Lumia 520 the version is 1030.6408.1309.0002. Is it a problem and anyone from India has the same version ( 1030.6408.1309.0002 ) of mine in your Lumia 520???

HI, its the same thing for me too... I am from India... u can see the below screenshot from NSU... were it shows my current version and the update version... I never updated my L520 its just 3 months old...

Yep same... When i check for update in phone it says up to date... :-( Dont knw whts wrong... Now doubtful on getting amber update... :-(

If i update my phone using nsu what all data i will loose, does that erase apps and games also and also will that affect my warranty...?

Yes all apps and games will be deleted.
Try to download those app on PC . So that you have installer file in your hand.

Gouthamdatsme, try a later edition of NSU. I had same problem using 2012 version, L520 not recognised. Hope this helps....

I flashed my phone from 6408 to 6409 firmware about 2 months ago.. but didnt noticed any change :|
So i suggest u to stick with your current version because their are no new features in 6409.. its just the same as 6408
Wait for Amber !!

no you wont lose ur warranty. coz warranty expires only if u dont run the official nokia software version but NSU gives u official software for ur phone..

for 820 its available now. Next 620, then 720/520..still its too far away
