Could you pls confirm from where you downloaded the Amer update. I am trying since morning from upload bazz and getting TimeOut from website and unable to find any other link from where Amber update can be downloaded

I got some notification for update, didnt pay much attention as i was otherwise preoccupied. My phone restarted and after migrating data etc, it showed update successful.

OS Version - 8.0.10328.78
Firmware revision number - 1030.6408.1309.0002.

These i believe are old version numbers. Does it mean my phone wasn't updated? In the phone update section, it shows my phone is up to date.

I am new to this NSU thing... can you please tell me how to check for the software update for my Lumia 520 because in country it is showing US in warranty section. Please refer your posted pic. Thanks in advance. Your help will be highly appreciated.

it will ask u to restore chat when u install whatsapp provided u did backup before uninstalling.

For peeps having trouble updating there phones...

Lumia 520 RM-914 3046.0000.1329.2001 VAR IMEA IN CV <<< Download Indian Variant Rom

Nokia Software Updater <<< Download NSU

Install NSU and put the extracted "RM-914" folder in C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products
then disconnect your internet and run NSU in offline mode (You can also change online/offline mode without disconnecting internet, for that you need to go to settings in NSU)

then connect your L520 and click on Update
Enjoy Amber !!

I Successfully upgraded to Amber. I used Nokia Care Suite to download the Brazil country variant and flashed it with care suite. Worked well. My AT&T RM-915 Lumia 520 is no longer branded. I had to change the language to English when done but other than that, loving it. One odd thing though is that there is no double tap to wake.

I already had amber on my 520 as its an ATT go phone however I also flashed the Brazilian Country Variant using Nokia Care Suite so I wouldn't have to rely on ATT to "bless" the update. It was fairly easy and only took about 30 minutes.

I have the AT&T 520 that came with Amber, and I can't seem to get double tap to wake to work. When its enabled, all I notice is that the proximity sensor constantly flashes red while the screen is off.

It's quite disappointing that only the AT&T 520s have the double tap feature...

To think that they are a lot cheaper than our international 520s.
