I just update my Lumia 520 with amber. Visit your nokia center... they have software. Lots of improvement but Double tap is not there...

i want to go for amber!! but if something goes wrong or if i dont like amber then i cant come back to portico right?

you can come back for that you need to download old firmware from nokia software updater and then you can manually flash your phone to portico.

Hello Guys.... Stop checking in "Phone Update or NSU"... Just visit your nearest Nokia Center and Update to Amber.. after update : OS -> 8.0.10328.78, Firmware revision number -> 3046.0000.1320.2001, Hardware :1.0.0.0.

which center u went to?? Plz tell the name and place...i called nearest one and they said only for 920 and 820

Actually i got a mail from Nokia... coz i registered my self with Nokia. So, i approach them... If balasore have than why not Bhubaneswar.. Talk to them..
I mail .... "The Lumia Amber update begins rolling – you’ll get a notification on your phone when it’s ready to go. The update is currently available for Nokia Lumia 920, 820, 620 and 520. It will soon be available for Nokia Lumia 720 too.

The update download speed is very low.... On 2Mbps speed it shows only 14Kbps transfer rate.... started download at 9.30AM now 2.30PM just 32% completed....

mine completed in just under an hour.

If it is showing as update available in NSU, do update. Anyways when you go to service centre they are going to erase the data too.

I updated it using NSU which was available in India two days ago, which is pulled now(according to other users). Keep trying using NSU.

Not even in coming soon status.....will take alteast 2 weeks for 520 OTA. Nokia is so slow

What i got :-

1. Data Sense... amazing app
2. Radio
3. Change Default Camera Lens/App
4. Nokia Pro Cam

What i miss :-
1. Double Tap... very much needed
2. Block Calls & Text Messages
