Hi guys. Anyone here facing issues with the Push notifications after Amber update?

Update all the system apps using SysApp Pusher. You should be able to see glance option as a separate app in settings.

Otherwise you'll find it in Touch+Display if you haven't updated yet. Just swipe left once inside display+touch, you should be able to see the options

Just finished installing GadgetShieldz Screen Protection Film on my 720. Took me about an hour to apply it. Literally the most annoying and difficult thing I've ever done in my life. Aligning was such a pain in the S. Though it was my fault to install it in the evening cause I'm such a lazy person. Can't even recall how many times the soap solution went into the earpiece but this is something you can't avoid from doing. Don't know if the earpiece will work or not but I ain't gonna switch on my phone for the next 12 hours.

because i cannot use 3G anymore. If I select 3G it switches between 3G and 2G every 5-10seconds, I cannot even load one page using 3G, the connection stops and switches to 2G. In fact I cannot use internet if I select 3G as it toggles between 2G and 3G.

that means 3g signal is very weak in ur area. Thats y it switches. Weak 3g signal drains battery badly.

The network indicator shows 3-4bars out of 5, and 3G was working perfectly fine before the update.

Yeah I know thats a issue. I'm facing that too but it doesn't bother me much as I'm on WiFi most of the time. I hope they fix it. Talking of switching back to GDR1, you need to get your hands on the 720 GDR1 ROM. If you can find one then its possible but its still risky.
