I just got the Surface 2 yesterday and I'm loving it so far. It's my first Windows 8 Tablet, so I'm still learning the ins and outs of the operating system. I was wondering if someone might be able to tell me what the button is on the on screen keyboard is that is located between the space bar and the control key. Normally, its the emoticon button, but when you are entering a password it changes to this blinking square looking icon, that you can toggle and the button changes to a square. I have a Nokia 920 and can tell that there are definitely similarities between the keyboards and how they are arranged, but this button is not on WP8's keyboard.....Screenshot (1).pngScreenshot (2).png

It toggles lighting the keyboard up when typing on and off, so that to an onlooker it is much more difficult to read what you are typing.

Great, thanks for pointing that out! I never noticed the subtlety of the keys not lighting up as I hit them. It's certainly a good feature to have.
