On W10 Mobile, why do Directions buttons open Bing Maps instead of the Maps app on the phone?

For some time now, whenever I search for a location with Bing (using the Edge browser) and click the Directions button, it tries to find the directions using Bing maps. I would like it to open the native Maps application on the phone, which is what it used to do. Is there a setting I can update to fix this?

I just tested it on my lumia 950xl on latest stable build and i searched for a mall a little map was shown at the top, i tapped it and it opened maps.

You do need your location turned on for this to work.
