OneDrive killed one of my games

Didn't want OneDrive and got tired of it syncing everything, so I deleted the synced filed and uninstalled it from my computer (and unlinked my PC on the site itself). Not only is it STILL showing up as linking my files, but one of my games now does not work after I restored all the synced files (because despite being "synced", deleting them from OneDrive deletes from my PC entirely!). The game does not recognize its own files and thinks it's empty, despite it's not. Great. Just great. (What genius came up with this bad idea??)

How do I remove OneDrive entirely? I want it off my PC! It's doing nothing but causing me trouble.
