again..
I did not say that Mango did break it.
I just find it frustrating to own a great phone with great OS with a fantastic contact manager (people hub) with intergrated Twitter/Facebook client and still have to use another app to get the whole picture. I don't blame Microsoft for this. Just frustrated about it because I am pretty sure I did get all Facebook updates until today. Did Facebook make a change in their privacy policy?

No changes in the last week to my knowledge have been made to privacy setting and scouring MS answers this was posted in late July.
You'll also notice you don't have DM read/write capabilities with Twitter in the Hub. This is an issue with Twitter as well.

I have found out that some of my contacts did change their privacy policy manualy because of a e-mail that is circulating encouriging people to change this if they are concerned about privacy. It is a coincidence that WPcentral posted this message and I related it to the fact that I am not seeing updated anymore.
my mistake.

Yup just last week I remember people posting a chain message saying that they should change their settings under subscribe/comments & likes so it won't show up everywhere. Problem with that is people didn't realize it blocked every single one of their comments. So it's not going to show up anywhere, including notifications even if you were in the middle of a back and forth conversation.

Stuff like that, people don't realize how they can screw things up. But that's the price you pay for asking for more control over your privacy. Not saying it's a bad thing. Just saying now that we got what we wanted, we have to learn how to use it. And it's a *****, because the more control we have the more complicated it gets.
