I don't see that changing until Nokia does what Apple and Samsung do: release one flagship device for all carriers. We don't see an SG3 for AT&T, SG3.5 for VZW, etc. The carrier exclusives are what's hurting Nokia.

Yup agreed Nokia is very much still in the "get a foot in the door" mode in the US.

The spammers advertising spy software really are out in force tonight, even digging up old WinMo threads. I've just banned a ton of them, and I closed the WinMo thread.

Thanks. I am keeping an eye on this guy he posts fine for a while then he posts a thread that is just off the wall out of line. Its only happened a couple of times so its to early to get his pattern down. I just don't know yet what he is up to.

Robert Carpenter. Cleaned up his reported post yesterday and sent him a pm with a note about personal attacks and insults. He hasn't replied to the PM but is posting this morning. So far it's ok. No comments directed at a person but a general statement about only in the tech world is there such level of ignorance and misunderstanding. He's actually defending WP, just not doing it in the best manner. I think he bears watching for a little while.

To me it was personal attacks. If he does it again either infraction will net him a ban.

I'll wait and see. I wouldn't be surprised if he posts something hostile again. Or if he sends you a nasty reply to your PM, then you could infract him for that.

He did the former. Got a disruptive that time. All this while training firemaking on RuneScape. Who said men can't multitask :wink:

Oh, and get a check on his IP. If he posts another one just do his account in for multiple accounts.

What a strange guy. He never did reply to my initial warning. Even thanked my warning post in the thread. But he lived up to my thought of keep an eye on him. Been out this afternoon, I need to go take a look at the thread and catch up.

Our buddy is taking veiled shots at the site. He's coming so close to messing up. I'm tempted to talk bad about where he works to see if he takes the bait, lol.

the linked portion has 31 current pages and almost 30000 requests. voicing your wishes here is only shouted down, save your time and exercise your wants _there_ , where it has support and makes a difference.
