yaro da yaar is one to watch.

I issued a warning to him for a reported PM early this morning. He didn't listen and sent another PM to Himanshu that was also reported, which resulted in an infraction.

Now I found inappropriate language in the Off-topic forums (use of an umlaut to post the F-word and get around the filters), which resulted in yet another infraction.

I think it's time for him to meet with some hard words...

Might be an idea to ask hope4wp about this. I suspect that this is a case of a hacked Hotmail account, or he's forgotten a persistent login - the PMs sent bear little similarity to his public forum use.

Inappropriate attitude and language. Just deleted most of a thread where he spewed abuse at other members and removed some other inappropriate posts of his. Seems to think it's ok to trash talk.

As much as I hate to bring his name up because I have liked him Micah Dawson needs seems to be in a "pick fight" mood lately. I closed a thread contrasting the Samsung ATV SE and the Icon because he just wouldn't let the Samsung defenders be. He just needs reminded of common politeness.

I've been keeping an eye on yaro da yaar after his return. He's taken to posting odd religious posts "Allah hu Genesh" is the latest one. Only three posts so far along the same lines, but he could be working up to something and subsequently defending himself on the pretext of religious discrimination.

He's an odd cookie for sure.

I just hooked him up with another infraction for the same thing. He's now living the dream with 250 infraction points.

Okay everyone.

I've been having some issues with our new member "EC Translating Services". I gave him a warning for multiple remarks which I felt crossed the line. Apparently he was not amused. He also took offense at one of my posts (the W8 hammer analogy). This resulted in an exchange of PMs in which he accused me of bias, favouritism and unprofessionalism. I therefore feel it is best for me to put this exchange out in the open for all of you to see and possibly get some feedback from the more experienced folks here. I don't intend to take any further action, or at least I don't feel it is necessary. Feel free to take a look and provide feedback/criticism, but don't feel you must.

You've repeatedly implied that those who don't share your view lack intelligence. This isn't constructive, it leads to heated tempers that nobody enjoys, and resorting to such tactics ultimately weakens your own arguments.

Don't forget to fill it with grey matter once you're done with the outside. Two of you would be too much .

IT took one post to you to understand. 20 posts to thay guy up and he's still not getting it. I wonder......

Nobody appreciates this type of humour (salty jokes). Please refrain from this in the future and spare us the inconvenience of applying infractions.

You have implied that too in your very first reply to me. Which surprised me pretty much from a moderator, especially when that specific moderator appears not to have understood the content of my original post and is implying things he shouldn't.
As to the other "insults" i'd like you to go read CAREFULLY who started and is still going on. So if this is an exclusive club where you can insult people and expect people not to react or passively submit to moderators (or their friends or people they sympathize with), please notify me so that i can remove my profile and stop dedicating my time to this blog and move to places where people's opinions are respected.

Now do me a favour, go check who started and you and that guy treat people with respect next time, especially when you (both of you) make mistakes in the facts you submit. One thing is opinions; another thing is lies. When these lies come with insults you make it hard to resist to make you notice the shortcomings.

I couldn't care less about who started what. This isn't Kindergarden. I care only about who overstepped the line. You were the only person in this thread mentioning the lack of grey matter and insufficient IQ. That's all there is to it.

I'm not offended by every little bit of snark. I think it is okay when people call other's behaviour or motivations into question. I don't tolerate personal insults however. That is where I draw the line. As long as you respect that line, you can disagree with me or anyone else as much as you want. There is no need to remove/close your profile.

Finally, it definitely wasn't my intent to offend and I don't think you are intellectually challenged. Based on the likes/thanks the offending post received from other moderators/ambassadors however, I think it's safe to assume that you were the only person who felt its contents were offensive. Surely I would have heard from my colleagues had it been otherwise.

I had hoped the hammer analogy would help you determine what it is I'm not understanding, because I assure you I definitely wasn't refusing to comprehend. I just couldn't. Unfortunately it seems to have been counterproductive, despite some people on your side of the argument claiming the analogy was good.

Anyway, for me this incident is over and forgotten. I hope we can move on.

That's exactly because this is not Kindergarden (i am far past my 40s and we're back into subtle implied statements) that YOU in the first place should have contained your enthusiasm (As both a moderator and a user) and B) Restrained that professional troll from insulting me first. If you noticed, he has irritated every other users (not only in that thread). So you either can do your job or just let it do to someone else.
The fact you don't care who started and just cherry pick statements without knowing the roots of the issue, completes the picture on how professional you can be. Let's hope you don't work in some court. That would be a sad perspective. It's more or less like me insulting you subtly for a couple of weeks and when you get tired and vocally tell me to f@ck off and then, one "moderator of your same breed", comes and tells you "hey, a5, please stop this, you know here this is not allowed" and you are there like "Hey..didn't you see the man is pissing everyone's off with subtle insults and pretending not to understand stuff 20 people have explained to him?". That man is a troll, if not always, yesterday he was for sure, and you have let him do his job! That's a double insult from my perspective. That's as professional as you are in my mind!

FYI: There are other blogs where people can discuss these issues in an adult way, without having biased moderators and their sympathizers hindering the discussion and where things like these would never happen (and never did indeed). It should have been your job to intervene and tell him to stop. Instead you didn't. That tells scores of what your level of professionality in doing your job is and is also the reason why, after getting tired of being provoked i had to react. Not only, but he kept going with his provokations and you never even told him to stop once.

I am reiterating the statement. BE OBJECTIVE AND DO YOUR JOB or your position as a moderator won't protect you from me thinking you're an unprofessional biased (or worse) individual both as an user and as a moderator, which in my mind brings you down to a sub-user level (almost a troll with the power to kill). You're not there yet, but the signs are not encouraging.

For the rest, if you deem it necessary for me to leave, just drop me a line and worry not, i'll leave you and your friend free to advertise any Microsoft product you want, including non existing functionalities, and abusing users with subtle sarcasm while sanctioning any reply that may offend your politically correct, "unidirectional" sensitivity. I was surprised at your attitude, then i discovered there are other bloggers with similar opinions on some alleged "moderators" and on certain users, i have discovered right yesterday. So i realized i am not alone in thinking what i think. That's reassuring. I am not mad.

I hope this clarifies the point once and for all.

In order not to protract this further (since i have a job, too and blogging on IT is an entertainment for me). Contact me only to let me know if you need me to leave the website as i don't have much time to waste with the two of you, as well as to give this a sharp cut before we reach kindergarden level again in private messages too, which appears to be the preferred battlefield for some individuals...and their minions. I think we have clarified the opinions we have on each other enough and mine on you and that troll is not going to change till you start doing your job...honestly i mean.

ag1986 had a duplicate account as Markham Ranja. Network Mod Beverly C found it and PM'd me.

I banned the duplicate account after reviewing the records of both accounts.

Jaskys is one to watch. He has the 'no nonsense' posting style we see so often when people start making things personal.

Please keep an eye on A895.

I sent him a warning in a PM to change his tone regarding his pro-Android rhetoric. I've also issued 2 infractions for trolling, since he did not respond to my PM and kept up the trolling.

He has already been banned permanently from CrackBerry for his continual trolling on that site.

Please let me know if he keeps it up here, and I will issue a perma-ban if needed.

Jaskys' ban expired, and he promptly posted a complaint about the rules and the mods. Now he is banned again, and he is up to 185 points following my 50 point infraction for disruptive posting.

That puts him 40 points away from a permanent ban.
