Photos app not showing images

I've got all my data transferred from an sd card to another and now the Photos app will only show me the pngs and the images in Camera Roll. In Storage Sense, they show up under "Other". It's really driving me crazy, I guess it's something related to cache or something like that, but I've got no clue on how to fix it.

what are the folders named? This may cause some images to be hidden

Whatsapp Images for example are not showing up, but only the old ones. If I receive a new image, it will show up just fine.
I guess it's related to this, btw.
