Found this new app, PlaceCam, for both WP7.x and WP8, really snazzy way to tag photos I think. Here's an example


Could use the ability to add more effects, and tag people, but I think it has the basics down well for what it aims for, simple tagging a photo with a caption and the ability to share on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Many people say WP7.x is dead, but I feel like I am seeing actually more support since it's pretty easy to port over a WP7.x app to WP8 from what I understand. Might as well do that to hit more users I'd assume.

You need to use Zune to view photos. Once you install that, plug your phone in and it should appear in Zune as a device and you should be able to manage your photos from there.

Hiya, been a lurker on these forums for quite a while after buying my Lumia last year; thought i might as well join

Been so much hate for the 900's camera ever since it came out! Personally I think it has a image output (at least crispness wise) better than the 920\925's due to their SUPER aggressive noise reduction filters - which is something I've noticed Nokia implement ever since the 900 got such a bad rap on release. Kinda makes me apprehensive about the upcoming 1020, and how much detail they're going to crush in those potentially awesome 38mp images. Wish there was some way of turning it off, here's hoping that "Pro Camera" app thing gives you that flexibility.

Anyway, here are a few of the best images i've taken in the (year?) i've had my Lumia 900, probably the best digital camera i've had There are issues with the white balance on occasion, but nothing a little adjustment in Photoshop won't fix. Ok...here are some unedited photos from my last vacation in the FL Keys...Probably not the best photos, but pretty typical of this camera I think. The Osterich on the bike was full zoom as I couldn't get the camera out of my pocket before he went by. Oh and the bridge is actually over Quichee Gorge in VT. I think some of the FL pictures were a bit blurier than normal as it was really humid and sweaty and probably got who knows how much sun screen and oils etc everywhere. This is likely my last set from my L900 as I should be inheriting my Pop's L920 this weekend
