I see quite a few people here are using Flickr. What's the best app for uploading to Flickr? Looks like the official app has pretty much been neglected by Yahoo as it hasnt had an update in ages.

It works well for uploads and general viewing for me. Haven't even looked at alternatives. Their site works well in the browser as well.

Got home today, walking from my car to my house, and it posed for me! Almost no zoom here, it let me get really close. I wish he hung around longer. I didn't really have time to focus well. Was only still a few seconds.

If you are squeamish, look away now. I have decided spiders and manual focus make a nice bokeh, but man, it is hard to get the focus right.

Another day, another walk through some neighborhoods. It seems like every time I go out and through them, I see something new. I'm not complaining, mind you. Also, I'm not sure what it is with me and flowers. I just seem to take so many pics of them... I should look for more wildlife. I am in small town east Texas...

A couple photos from our trip to Hawaii...the camera...er I mean phone...came just in time. Shooting nothing but auto (for now)....we'll see how it fares at the wedding/reception in a couple days. FWIW been purely shooting in Nokia Pro auto, but will try some of the presets in the basic camera app later.

Loving it and the camera grip!

This picture below is from about 1 minute earlier than the one above...focusing on the horizon and shows how dark it really was.

@Bkr11: Your last Hawaii Picture is just wonderful! Please give us more Hawaii Pictures! And maybe you can share Full Res Pictures on Flickr?
Hawaii is such a wonderful place for Photographers. Btw. on which Island are you? Looks like Maui.
And you should give your Daughters also a 1020-Cam and not such a cheap P&S. :wink:

You'd have to come to Athens to try some... Hopefully we're gonna start shipping our juice at the end of the month, so maybe you can pick some up on our website. It's completely raw ans unpasteurized so the government won't let us wholesale it (put it in grocery stores and the like). Have you seen any other 1020's in the wild, here in Georgia? I used to see Lumia 920's all around LA (where I used to live) but since I've been back in Georgia, I haven't seen one Windows Phone anywhere.

Nope, not only no 1020s, but not even another WP. I don't push tech on anyone, but have been sharing pics with all in my circle. Judging by the drool, that may change :smile:
