Hawaii is such a wonderful place for Photographers. Btw. on which Island are you? Looks like Maui.
And you should give your Daughters also a 1020-Cam and not such a cheap P&S. :wink:

Is Flickr better than Photobucket? I've been using photobucket for my pictures?

A couple photos from our trip to Hawaii...the camera...er I mean phone...came just in time. Shooting nothing but auto (for now)....we'll see how it fares at the wedding/reception in a couple days. FWIW been purely shooting in Nokia Pro auto, but will try some of the presets in the basic camera app later.

Loving it and the camera grip!

How is that these picures are so crisp and clear and like just seeing it live which other picture even though they are good are not clear and crisp?.. I usually take pictures which are not clear and crisp.

I haven't had a problem. Maybe take a microfiber cloth to your lens? There may be a smudge on it.

Lumia 1020 - a set on Flickr

Yep - we are on Maui. Have mostly been bumming around the condo/resort, but want to get out and explore a little. Unfortunately my twins get car sick very easy, so road to Hana and other twisty trips are not going to happen. Hopefully I can still find some beautiful places to take them.

While I love my 1020, the Olympus TG-1 does have one thing on it...waterproof and slightly more durable ;-) The girls are having a blast taking pictures with it.

That is exactly what happened with some shots the other day - didn't realize the lens was smudged. That being said a few of these came out exceptionally clear...if light is too bright can be a bit more washed out I think (these were relatively early in the morning here in Maui).

I just received a Nokia 1020 and took a couple of test shots and band shots yesterday and shocking is the correct word. I have asked myself, "Is this a phone with an exceptional camera, or is this an exceptional camera that is a phone?" The Smart Camera and Creative Studio apps are crazy! The ability to take a great picture, edit the picture with color correction, enhancement, color pop....staggering. I am no photographer, and these were taken of me by a friend, but....man. Taken, edited and emailed from the 1020!

I love bleeding hearts! My mom has been keeping some of her bleeding heart plants alive since before I was born (and I'm 27 now). LOVE getting chances to take pictures of them. ^_^
