I took a series of photos with the 1020 at Galveston Island's Moody Gardens in Texas and was really pleased with the quality even when compared to my Sony A77 dSLR. Here is a link to view them (no post processing}:

Took some pics on a recent sailing trip. Used my camera grip and I must say it came in handy because at times the boat was pretty rocky. All these pictures were taken in auto. Threw in there a low light picture of my little bear, which I took using that new OneShot app.

It's a bit fuzzy because it was low-ish light and I don't have a surgeons steady hand, but here's a reframed/cropped image of my kitty (his name is Matches):

Off to the luau soon, but will try to do some crops of some of the low light photos later to see how decent they are. 1st impression is that the camera doesn't make up for me being a bad photographer, but it can certainly capture some nice low light pictures if the settings are right. I'd love to be able to replicate the last one in most situations.
