Here's a few shots. I usually just go with full auto for my settings. The quality of the Lumia Cameras, specifically the Icon and 1520 are just outstanding. I know the 1020 sets the standard but the shooters on the current flagship Lumias are beasts!WP_20140601_002.jpgWP_20140605_002.jpgWP_20140606_003.jpgWP_20140605_007.jpgWP_20140526_006.jpg

Here's a cropped version of the honey moon in MN (honey moon = full moon in june has a more yellow hue). iso set to 100, brightness at -3, shutter at 1/400. no post-editing except for the crop.

A shutter speed of 1/1000 or 1/800 produces a better exposed image when taking photos of the moon. The second one isn't as clear because it was cloudy.

Thanks all for posting images, it's given me a better idea of what the 930 will provide once released here in the UK. Much appreciated.

I'm loving the camera on this phone the more I use it.

The person who normally records our chapter meeting presentations forgot his camera, so I filled in. He uses a dedicated video camera that is patched into our sound system, but I recorded just from the table I was sitting at. Since the presentation was about photography, I thought it couldn't be more appropriate to post here. Recorded on my Icon, in bad lighting, a discussion about photography by a professional aviation photographer.

Oh - the chapter is Chapter 690 of the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association)

Thought it would be an interesting subject with textures, surface color differences, and intense lighting. No Processing yet:

Rich,
Great vid. Why no mention on your youtube page about being recorded with your Icon? You really should be bragging about it more.

The photos in this thread are the reason I bought this phone. I'm so impressed with the quality of the pictures everyone has taken! Here's one I took at a wedding yesterday, my first full day with the phone. At first, my friends said, "You bought a Windows phone?! So you're the one!", but after they saw the pictures and the screen quality, they were very impressed.

My first attempt at using Lightroom with the DNG. I can't believe what I have been missing out with the RAW output, so much more control, especially over noise.
