Do you modify the settings to take action shots like this? Mine often come out as a blur. Are you using a third party camera app (ie ProShot) or are you using the Windows Camera app?

Always loved the close-ups on the Lumia 1020 and 950XL.

Here's one taken with my 950XL. Had no idea that was even text until I tried it.

Ok so not 950XL, but my 950 has the same camera as the XL.

3. Bought my wife some tulips. This one opened up a lot so I snapped a shot.

This camera is unbelievable. Everyone claims they have the best camera (ahem apple and Samsung) but when it comes to working on the files in a professional manner, the lumia 950 series and 1020 are still not matched IMO. Right now people equate excellent cameraphones with deep saturation, oversharpening, overly aggressive noise control, and HDR and crap like that, but when it comes to achieving quality and depth in the same direction as a DSLR would, that's the Lumia line's strength.

marvelous, I have a Lumia 1520 which takes competent pictures but it does not come close to what the Lumia 950 sensor can take.

Even though W10M is in dire straits, I'll still get a Lumia 950 XL for its camera.

I use the stock camera app. I manually set the shutter speed to the fastest I can get away with and still maintain a 50 or 100ISO. Press and Hold the camera button is set to burst mode.

I made up a Sway a while ago that shows a little about Sways features, and a little about using the manual controls in the (old) camera app. Probably time to update it. https://sway.com/hQa8IYTgzQeN86eZ
