T-Mobile shipped my Home Internet device to the wrong address. I reported it to T-Mobile but they couldn't do anything but cancel my order and put me back on the waiting list for my location. The people who received it, found my phone number and called me. I picked it up and notified T-Mobile but they had cancelled the SIM it was shipped with and could not undo that. So, I shipped the device back to them.

Just received this via email:

Can't believe it could take 10 days to get my zero dollars back!
Wow! That's terrible.

I found this neat coffee scoop at a small local shop that sells upcycled products from poor communities around the world. I believe they claim this is hand forged, but the scoop is so incredibly smooth, let's say I'm skeptical. The handle I'd buy.

My old blu-ray player started having issues reading discs, so it was time for an upgrade. Should be very good at isolating the disc from vibration as it's very heavy compared to other players. I do find it strange and a bit frustrating that even an expensive model has ZERO on-device display other than a tiny power indicator.

Not new tiny van for me!
Purchased this little 2021 Ford to replace a great big 'ole diesel dually I recently sold off.
No more diesel for this old man.

My home office chair was starting to fall apart just like every one I can remember. I think 2 years is about the record before things start wearing out, breaking or getting uncomfortable. Didn't matter what chair I bought from the big box stores for $450 or less. This one was around 3 years old and gas cylinder collapses as you sit, bonded leather is flaking, foam cushions getting hard, casters barely roll, tension adjustment does nothing, etc.. And even if I wanted to order repair parts (which I don't), I swear these companies, even the big names, make a dozen of any model and move on. I can't remember seeing whatever I last bought in any store more than for a few months.

So, I decided to shop chairs made for businesses. I knew I'd overpay since businesses don't care as much because they can depreciate. But they also don't want down time and they don't want a bunch of mismatched stuff as they expand or individual items finally do die.

Jump to the chase, I decided to get a Herman Miller Aeron. There is a showroom in the Phoenix area so I got to try one out before ordering. Was as comfortable as my research indicated and incredible build quality. Mesh back, mesh seat so no pressure points. Adjustments galore. I swear I can almost roll the chair by blowing hard. Twelve year full warranty.

That looks awesome! My husband is wanting a new chair for our home office, and I would like one too.

Think about shopping where businesses buy furniture. I suspect the odds of getting something that lasts and is comfortable for long periods is much better that route.

Mine does not have adjustable lumbar support, but otherwise looks like yours. It's from Costco. When I had one at work, I never adjusted the lumbar support, but I do miss it a little sometimes.

Almost everywhere else in the world Mustangs come with taillights that are white when off. I suspect it's because countries have different laws about brake, turn, emergency light colors so they put the right color LEDs for each market behind white lenses. In the US every light function can be red so they use red lenses and white LEDs behind them.

None of the foreign market white lensed lights are compatible from a command standpoint. Plus most or all foreign lights give up the signature sequential turn signals.

There were several aftermarket sources but they tended to burn out, fill with water, fit crooked, etc. Not for me.

But Ford just created a US Mustang model called Ice White. White paint, white lights, even white wheels. I ordered a set of the lights.

Not mine below. Don't have a GIF of them to show sequential turn for anyone not familiar. edit: apparently you have to click on it to play.

I got tired of the stock Halogen headlights that came with my truck, so I decided to pick up a set of Morimoto XB-LED Gen2 headlights. These work so much better on the road than stock and they look great. With vehicle prices what they are now - I figured I'd just keep this one a while and throw some upgrades on it.

The camera didn't do justice to the lighting animation that it goes through when starting the truck. It's pretty cool though.

Going into my 5th month of learning Taichi, I picked up a piece of cheap Vennifier NeoBoom speakers. Cost about USD27. Not the loudest but you don't really need loudness when practicing those intricate steps.

New oil fill funnel for Mustang. A member on another forum 3d prints custom funnels for specific model/engine combos. Pick your colors for the funnel and each end cap. Or multiple color bands for the funnel. My funnel locks on with a quarter turn like the car's oil cap so can't get jostled loose while filling. And with each end capped, no more cleaning a generic funnel after each use and again before next use.
