By no means bleeding edge - 9th Gen i5, 32GB RAM, three 500GB SSD's (two PCIe (NVMe) SSDs w/one set up as boot), 1080p display which is perfectly fine. Had to buy something to replace our 7-13 old laptops/desktops, didn't break the bank, and was capable enough for some 2/4K video edits. Tickety boo so far... P.S. No gamers here :winktongue:.

That looks awesome! Enjoy it.
Enjoying it I am. This is one slick device that I can say is truly an iPad Pro slayer. Chromebooks have traditionally had rather dull displays but this 3000x2000 beast is a delight. Best of all is the $500 price tag straight from Google with the backlit keyboard and pen.

Go figure. I researched the heck out of what I wanted for a tablet and finally pulled the trigger on an iPad Pro. Then MS goes and offers a 256GB Surface Book a week later for dirt cheap. Ugh. Well, I'm in the pool so I may as well enjoy the swim. LOL

Did you get the m3 version or the i5 version?

Howdy all!
Me purchased one of them tiny W10 PC's.
Got it from Amazon with rewards points.
These were on sale for $118.71 on some flash deal.
I tried a Raspberry pi4, hated it.
Returned that thing, so now I'm not mad anymore

Hoping this ACEPC deal isn't a bad purchase.

Samsung Galaxy Buds

Lenovo Legion Y540

  • 9th gen i7
  • Nvidia 2060
  • 16GB RAM

IMG_20200310_233806_3.jpg

Total price: $54

So technically the Buds are refurbs that I was also able to catch on a Best Buy one-day sale. And technically I didn't pay for the laptop either.

I somehow managed to convince work to buy it for me. It was laptop upgrade time and originally I was going to get another Dell XPS. Turns out our vendor could actually get this for cheaper. It has more ports. And clearly better specs. And again, CHEAPER!!! Plus it's great that the Legion line, while being Lenovo's "gaming" series, still looks fairly normal. It's not littered with LEDs or some weird two tone design. It really looks like a regular (albeit thicc) laptop.

Those are both awesome new acquisitions. I really like that laptop, especially since it has enough power for gaming but doesn't look like a gaming laptop.

I bought this new radio for my truck a couple months ago, so I can use Android Auto for music and Google Maps. It also plays FLAC, so been playing with that a bit - I think my ears may be too old to hear the difference! Maybe someday I'll actually have time to install it. For now I've got it set up on my bench getting familiar with it. That's a minidisc deck underneath it.. but that purchase was a year ago.
