Just take a good wallpaper and cut it in the tiles you need
You cn use paint or better...paint.net

I use these sizes
•Large Tile: 691 x 336
•Medium Tile: 336 x 336
•Small Tile: 159 x 159

You can try Skinery Themes.

There are a lot that you can use.
Skinery, shortcuts4all, wiztiles

But the cutting and resizing happends in Paint.net.
Why paint.net instead of Paint.
In paint.net you can work in layers and use transparant/opacity for some effects.

You can create a singel tile, but also a set of tiles.
The most beautiful effects you can reach by thinking outsite the box.
Example if you whant create more depth ( 3d ) don't look at them as squares but as cubes

Just a simple example of a flat tile and what
it can do if you just change it a bit...
Simple paint, and aded the tiles with SC4all

The icons are also from Shortcuts4all
But you dont need to use them, you can create your
own icons right on the tile ( in Paint ).
